dated furniture many marks
the location was central near good cafes it was clean too
the room i stayed in needed an upgrade there were many marks on the walls only one of the four light fittings worked also the furniture felt quite old

beach proximity sea view better view
the location is awesome near the beach and places to eat. i could see the sea when i opened the window, the view is amazing! i recommend getting a room on the third floor for an even better view.
the bathroom was a bit disappointing to me.

helpful staff train station
The location provided easy access to the beach. Bus stops and the train station were very close. The staff provided a warm welcome. They were friendly and helpful .
The stairs were quite steep to access upper floors.

good location
ground floor room bright room comfortable bed concrete parapet stale teabags many stairs
the communication from the hotel was good. i was able to have a ground floor room. my room was very bright and clean. the beds were comfortable, and there was tea and coffee.
the seaview was disappointing with a concrete parapet. there were a lot of stairs to reach my room. the teabags were stale, and there were no biscuits.

adequate but with issues
cigarette smell non-functional tv
the room smelled strongly of cigarettes (not a great start). the shower dripped constantly throughout the night. i noticed a large damp patch bubbling on the wall, also the tv did not function at all. a small portable heater provided the only source of heat.
